The annual Summer Party took place on Friday, June 2nd. The day was filled with Bouncy Castles, Total Wipeout, Magicians, tasty food all topped off with ice creams and sweet treats.
We hold this event each year as an opportunity to show our love and appreciation to all our children and young people who we care for, our colleagues and wider work force, and their families are all invited. Our Empower Family community came together with over 100 guests joining us allowing our Foster Carers and families to also form new friendships.
The summer weather supported a day filled with fun and laughter. There was a fantastic array of games, entertainment from a locally renowned magician, and of course lots of treats to eat. Feedback from our children has been that they particularly enjoyed beating the grownups in total wipe out! Team members and families were also able to relax and enjoy each other's company over an ice cream or two or even three.
